Abstracts:
The fracture mechanics problem of cracks nucleation in thin plate weakened by a periodic system of curvilinear holes is considered. It is assumed that during loading along the x-axis symmetrical rectilinear prefracture zones are emanated from the contours of holes. The condition that determines the critical value of the external load at which the crack occurs was obtained.
