In the form of explicit expansions the Fadle-Papkovich functions for the semistrip give a solution of the boundary value problem for a semi-infinite strip {Π+ : x ≥ 0, |y| ≤ 1}, with longitudinal stiffening ribs. The problem is considered in two ways as non-periodic and periodic for the half-plane. Basis properties of systems of functions Fadl Papkovich arising in the solution of these problems have been studied in detail [1], [2]. We used in for the solution the method of initial functions [3]. The solutions are obtained only for symmetric deformation about the x-axis.
