In the paper [1] the boundary–value problem for a piecewise–homogeneous elastic body with a semi–infinite interface crack partially reinforced by a rigid patch plate along one of its edges was solved. The problem was reduced to a Riemann–Hilbert boundary–value matrix problem with a piecewise-constant coefficient on a ray. The solution of the last one was found on the assumption that the coefficient matrix had different eigenvalues since the multiple eigenvalues case required extra investigation and was left out. This paper is aimed to fill the gap.
