Title:
On the Problem of Modeling the Abraded Surface of Heterogeneous Materials
This paper examines the process of abrasion of the surface of a heterogeneous material with granular inclusions, using the cement composite as an example. An approach is proposed for modeling the transition of the wear process from the surface layer into the depth of the material with possible loss of grains from the matrix. This approach is implemented by gradually reducing the deformation characteristics of the matrix with an analysis of the stress-strain state of the matrix–grain transition zone.
