Title:
Effect of the thickness of the elastoplastic adhesive layer of the composite on the value of the J-integral

Abstracts:
The elastic-plastic deformation of a composite plate corresponding to normal separation loading in a state of plane deformation is investigated. The sample in question consists of two elastic consoles connected by an elastoplastic adhesive layer. An analytical solution is used based on the concept of the ”interaction layer”, the Mindlin—Reissner plate theory and the Tresca—Saint-Venant criterion under the condition of full plasticity. A formula for determining the values of the strength characteristic in the form of a J-integral is found. It is shown that for two adhesives with different mechanical properties, the error of the analytical and experimental values of the J-integral does not exceed 5 %, and with a decrease in the thickness of the adhesive layer, the values of the J-integral tend to a certain value.
