Abstracts:

The paper describes studies of the thermal effect of a gas burner flame on a steel plate. During this exposure, a hole appears in the plate material - burning. To describe the process, a one-dimensional mathematical model is constructed based on the Prandtl-Reis model. The yield strength and elastic moduli are assumed to be temperature dependent. As a criterion of plastic flow, the Ilinsky-Ivlev condition is adopted, in which the term is introduced, which is responsible for the hardening of the material.
