Reviewers assist the editorial office in making decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts. The journal expects reviewers to observe the following principles.

• to maintain confidentiality: the manuscript is the private property of the authors and its content must not be disclosed, copied or used before publication;
• not to share the manuscript with third parties and not to upload it or any part of it to artificial-intelligence tools or other external services, as this breaches confidentiality; the assessment must be carried out by the reviewer personally;
• to provide an objective, well-reasoned assessment without personal criticism of the author;
• to inform the editorial office of any conflict of interest and, where necessary, to decline the review;
• to notify the editorial office of any suspected plagiarism or substantial overlap with other known works;
• to carry out the review in a timely manner, within the period set by the editorial office.
