Title:Experiments on complex deformation of structural materials and their approximation using V.G. Zubchaninov’s relations
Keywords:plasticity, complex deformation, loading process, experimental studies, approximation, mathematical modeling
Abstracts:

The article describes the results of experimental studies of the elastic-plastic deformation of thin-walled cylindrical cells made of the structural material Steel 45. The experiments were performed using automated equipment in the laboratory of the Department of Resistance of Materials, Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity of Tver State Technical University. In the process of complex deformation of samples along specified trajectories, with a sharp change in the direction of the deformation process, the effect of stress reduction (diving) is observed, which is important in predicting the response to the process being implemented. The mathematical modeling of the experimental results was performed according to the methodology proposed by Professor V.G. Zubchaninov. For flat two-link deformation trajectories with a fracture angle of 135°, the approximation parameters were selected, the analysis was performed, and proposals were formulated to improve the accuracy of the approximation.
