The thermal conductivity of a constructional element of the spacecraft in the form of the multilayered cylinder
The use of thermal conductivity in multilayer structures is of great importance in connection with designing heat-shielding coatings for perspective spacecrafts. Many requirements should be taken into consideration for a successful space flight. The first and the most common requirement is that temperature of each element of a spacecraft during all the period of time should be maintained in the predetermined operating range. The article describes the method of solving the problem of thermal conductivity for a multilayer cylinder with symmetric boundary conditions of the third kind.
