Abstracts: | In this work, stress components in the plastic region are obtained for a space of bulk material weakened by an ellipsoidal cavity. In the formulation of this problem at infinity, mutually perpendicular forces are applied, and there is no pressure inside the cavity. The solution to the problem is obtained in a spherical coordinate system in dimensionless units of length.
